Any trailer or part found to be faulty, incomplete, or broken must be returned to THE METAL WAREHOUSE premises within the warranty period at customer’s expense. All transport costs associated with returning trailer or parts, under any circumstances, are at the customer's expense.
All warranty claims returned will have a structural test/report to determine whether the faulty part or trailer is the result of negligence or misuse.
Repairs not covered under warranty will be charged accordingly and payable by the customer.
All THE METAL WAREHOUSE products are manufactured to NSW guidelines therefore buyers from other states must check their guidelines as they differ from state to state.
All THE METAL WAREHOUSE Products carry a 6 months warranty on any structure fabricated by THE METAL WAREHOUSE (under normal usage), all structural warranty claims must be advised in writing prior to being returned to our premises for inspection to rectify cause of failure. Please note if failure is deemed to be normal wear & tear or misuse, repairs will be quoted and only carried out upon customer consent in writing for specified cost. Owners disagreeing with the outcome of liability for claims will need supporting evidence and a structural engineers report. This will detail exactly what caused the part or structure to fail under manufacturers specified load capacity, at specified RMS speed limit at location of failure, to prove structure was manufactured incorrectly and all costs in doing so are to be done at customers expense.
Components not manufactured by THE METAL WAREHOUSE carry a 3 months warranty, upon failure of components contact details of manufacturer will be supplied to rectify claims, all costs involved in returning trailer or its components for any reason are payable by customer.
Warranty excludes the following: items not manufactured by THE METAL WAREHOUSE, tyre related issues, malfunction/distortion of trailer caused from owner misuse, overloaded stated atm of trailer ,trailers damaged from galvanizing process, rust issues and paint finish.
Any modifications or structures added to a trailer not supplied by THE METAL WAREHOUSE will automatically void warranty completely.
Customers that have purchased trailers from THE METAL WAREHOUSE, must check & re-tighten all wheel nuts of all wheels, brake pads, brake cable tension, wheel bearings grease, spring u-bolts/hanger bolts tightness, hand brake adjustment, tow ball height and or slack, electric brakes (make sure not overheating), breakaway system (battery is keeping charge) and all moving parts on trailer are moving free and not banging/grinding/broken/bent or seized after 50,100,500 kilometres of driving. All checks must be done by a qualified mechanic as not doing so will void any warranty claims.
THE METAL WAREHOUSE retains ownership of goods sold to buyer until payment has been received in full, any costs involved in recovering unpaid moneys will be payable by customer. Once full payment for goods is received, THE METAL WAREHOUSE does not take any responsibility for the theft or damage caused to the trailer whilst on THE METAL WAREHOUSE premises under any circumstances.
The purchaser shall inspect any products sold by THE METAL WAREHOUSE immediately upon delivery or pick-up, testing design/dimension checks that a prudent purchaser would carry out to ensure that trailer was manufactured to requested detail.
Towing vehicle guidelines state that all load on tow ball must be that of RMS recommendations therefore adhering to vehicles towing instructions at all times & ensure that tow vehicle is fitted with a suitable tow bar which ensures the trailer is towed at a level height. It is the owner/user’s responsibility to ensure safe usage of trailer & any other devices fitted to their trailer as THE METAL WAREHOUSE will not be held liable for any person’s injuries because of unsafe use or misuse.
